if any sites managers can see hole cards then surely he could know someone who plays on his site and tells him over a mobile phone or instant messenger what cards the rest of the players have.
From Gloss Poker's site:
All online
casinos use an RNG, but not all RNGs are the same. Of course, for
security reasons, we can’t tell you exactly how ours works; but we can
give you an idea:
where ever there are humans involved theres always a risk of cheating, after all, online poker software is only written by man so it can be manipulated.
online poker would be fantastic if these sites could proove that the trng's are random.
if i owned my online poker site id make every player install a webcam in front of them so everyone knows that there alone and no mobile phone in there hands.
"does this mean then that other online poker sites managers can see hole
cards , because if this is the case then thats probably the reason why
so many online players are getting screwed out of there cash.

Yes Nem, it does mean that. If you have not heard, there have been several sites that have had "superusers" that have cheated. They can see the hole cards. Gloss Poker does not have those. I know the owner of the site. Even he does not have the ability to see the cards anyone holds.
what about bots? Every site uses them 2 fill up space & players also use them. They are undetectable by security
I for one do not believe that sites use bots to fill up space and none willingly allow them to play either. I also wonder what data you have to prove that bots are undetectable by security. The sites are making too much money to risk being caught. The Absolute and UB site blowups show how much it costs to recover from greedy individuals.
A question for our administrator who knows more about these things than I. What is the affect of the continuous shuffle on the odds? In a live game once the cards are shuffled the sequence of the cards is fixed. In a continuous shuffle obviously they are not. I would assume that there is not a large difference if it can be measured at all. I have wondered about this for a long time.
Well...to answer simply: There would be no affect on odds at all. Yes if a continuous shuffler is used the order changes, but the cards that are shuffled remain the same. If 3 kings remain in the deck, 3 kings still remain. Any particular card has a 2 percent (more like 1.9%) chance of showing up. Whether it is shuffled around continuously or not does not matter. Unless of course someone believes them to be personally lucky and a reshuffle would eliminate that luck....or does the reshuffle give them the luck they were looking for? It's a circular argument. I don't think it matters...
Good question! Thanks Bob!
Masterblast, bots are not used by reputable sites. That would kill their business. Gloss Poker does not use bots.
